…and so we are all swapping pudding recipes and talking about comfort food in the book shop staffroom.
I was noodling about the new books table this morning and noticed the cover of a new book by New Zealand food writer, stylist, and photographer Eleanor Ozich, My Petite Kitchen Cookbook. Not only does it look gorgeous – the fresh, luscious food photography is very appetising – but the recipes are unusual and inspiring, and appear easy enough: one wants fabulous food but without too much drama.
I want to try the Pomegranate & Honey Mulled Wine, the Yoghurt, Marscarpone & Blackcurrant Cheesecake, the Baked Balsamic Strawberries with Pine Nuts and Cashew Cream, and the Nut Flour Crepes with Ricotta, Wilted Greens & Toasted Seeds….
You feel warmer already don’t you?
